I am very glad for this thread because it prevented me from allowing pc2246 into the USFL/WFL a while back.

I tried to be sure to thoroughly vet prospective owners by studying their. history and forum interactions. But as the number of users dropped, it became more difficult to maintain the same level of scrutiny and still keep a full 32-tesm league.

Credit to Gustoon for the courage to make the thread......

The thread is simply a warning to league admins that these owners have a history of problems managing their cap and roster which has led to drastic measures.

It's only part of the solution.....league admins should have the information and attempt to communicate with these owners to come to a definitive answer.

It's been my experience that anyone who simply made a mistake or needs help with answer a PM from an admin in a league they wish to join and at the very least defend themselves.

It's a **** shame that teams are better served by A.I. control then these owners

No response but he did request ownership in another league of mine.

Clearly he is hoping one of my leagues doesnt need admin approval so he can attack.

If you leave you leagues open....pay attention in case he joins.....he only needs one sim to spin to do his damage.

He can join an hour before the spin.....create destruction.....and bail before an admin even becomes aware.

Trust me.....I've had it happen to me and had to get JDB to roll back the sim.

If you value your league......allowing anyone to join without admin approval is the same as surfing the net on your computer and downloading stuff without antivirus software.

These destructive owners are a virus to this game.

Lucky.

Hasn't exactly destroyed the team but they now have virtually no cap and players unassigned to DC
Left without warning.


Another problem I have is if I want to PM him, how can I ? They aren't listed anywhere (with a link) on the team/league page

Laffs, I must apologize guys. I am aware that this isn't a laughing matter and I, like many of ya'll am concerned about how these circumstances are a "plague" upon the game.

However, on a whimsical but psychological note, you guys are aware, there can be no Batman without the madness and chaos of the Joker,right?

I'm not saying the subterfuge is intentional or not. And I do appreciate the efforts being put forth to communicate and alleviate it. Chuckles, but Cjfred ,Gustoon, etc....ya'll sound like there is a mandatory meeting ongoing in the halls of the Justice League.It's great!!!!

In essence you are correct....a group of league admins that began by one on one communications with one other formed a "league" of admins led by Gustoon to thwart the wrong doers in MFN by bringing there evil doing into the light and face "Justice"

Dibs on Batman.....Gustoon can be Superman......TheAdmiral can be aquaman!

The contract bit of the code needs work. How many guys leave through free agency demanding tens of millions in bonus, then sign for next to nothing with little or no bonus


They were asking for advice in the league they were the admin for. I'm pretty sure they were trolling.

Wanted to check in and let everyone know, PC messaged me, apologizing.

He admitted to me he was confused by the resigning process, and felt in over his head.

I told him he should feel free to ask veterans, and especially admins. I also sent him a quick outline of my resigning process.

We may be able to bring him around to being a good owner, if he's not too thrown off by his failures.
