To answer your question about what free motivation Smirt needs, he doesn't need any. That's why you shouldn't give him any more free motivation with sideways jabs like the one you made about Mitch beating him the previous season.

Mitch could beat me the next 100x and it wouldn't shore up the gulf between me and him.

I've been to 550 title games, nerfed out of 200+ titles and have 105.

He's nowhere even close to those #s.

Nerfed? So you basically just feel like you’ve been nerfed when you lose thinking you should just be handed a victory in every game you’ve played in.

But when I win 85-90% of the time in all games and am circa 18% in title games - that is not legit.

Title Games have legit, no chance nerfs and I got hit with them over and over. There's also another GM's structure. If the structure is poor, they can't beat you but in Title Games it won't play that way.
