Hello folks. Question for the long time MFN folks out there.
Welp, I think I already know the answer to this one, but it's multi layered so, forgive my verbosity.
Are the numbers for attribute/skill levels in the draft determined by my staff (therefore they might be slightly different than the numbers Leo might see in Detroit) or are those actual current numbers presented in an unbiased aspect (and numbers all teams see at the time of the draft)?
Next, in the NFL you see a fair amount of talent coming out of the 5th, 6th and 7th rounds. To me, I see (judging only from the numbers I am seeing on these draft picks), that these guys have zero chance of landing on my team, really. SO... I know I have learned that players development might improve somewhat, but can the numbers in the draft be completely wrong compared to the eventual development of a player? For example, if an RB in the draft shows 19/37... Is there a CHANCE (albeit slim) that he will actually develop into a 19/77 or 39/88 by the end of training camp/first week of real action?
Finally... Repositioning... Is it more likely that a drafted C can be moved to RG/LG than that same drafted center move to, say, DB? In other words, a lot of teams in the NFL slide offensive linemen around some... Will that repositioning within a specific group of players be naturally more reasonable?
Thanks for the input... I know, long post, but I am beginning to wonder about some of these things.
