Another silly question...

So, if I do a search for QB and then attribute intelligence, I get an interesting list that seems to show players that were once QB's or could be QB's but that are assigned to other positions. I mean, some of the players in the list weight in excess of 300 lbs and are defensive linemen. What am I really seeing here?

I am hoping to look for a young QB with some intelligence and go from there. I am not particularly interested in the 300+ pound variety, however. :)

Since you can move a player to any position, I felt it would be more equitable to display the search results for players in the light of being able to move them into the position you are searching for. When there aren't a lot of players available at the position you are searching for, you do start to get some strange results. After a season or two there will start to be more castoffs in the pool.

BTW, in case you haven't found it yet, you can go to My Team->Edit Player Weights to adjust the weight that each attribute has in influencing the composite rating for each position. If you want to emphasise intelligence over the other attributes (even temporarily as you can save and load your weight sets) you can do that there and all the ratings through the site (and during the sim if the AI needs to make decisions for you) will be driven by your settings.
