I'm good with this Draft. My final selection that's going to matter (have 2 6th Round Picks to play the Volatility Lotto and hope to hit a few Back Up Quality players late) is coming up.

It's 3 picks away, and I only have 3 guys left I'm really considering.

I slept through my original pick being sick today, and got an okay WR. Not what I'd have taken in the 1st, but my Top WR just Retired, and I'm weak at WR. James Garrett was producing at QB with bailing wire and duct tape on the OL and WR positions. Since I got a WR, I moved Donald Richmond back to WR from RB as well... so now he'll have 2 semi-legit WR to throw to.

Then I drafted an 81 OL who is sitting at LG, replacing the 3rd Round LG I had last Season.

So my triad left is all "Ripple Effect" Players, that won't just impact their position. LDE Theodore Brown would replace my RDE, who is only a 66 but managed 12 Sacks on a very Sack Hungry Defense. This would move my RDE to Rotational Edge Rusher, so both Brown and the amazing Bolden can take a rest and I can still have a Pass Rusher DE collapsing the pocket. This ALSO would move my other Rotational DE to the DT Position where his Low Speed won't be as much of an issue (Michaud). So I would improve both DE and DT Depth while having a new RDE.

Or there is Johnathon Smith, who would Start at LT for me. Which would move my LT to C, where he's an 81. This would give me 3 80's from LT, LG and C, with a 75 RG and 70 RT, while putting 2nd Round Center to the #2 Center for quality Depth.

Finally there is RB Brian Matthews, who would be RB 2 (so not a Starter, but RB2 last year for me had 173 Carries, 750+ Rushing Yards, and 6 Rushing TD)... but would move Converted TE Sergio Brown back to TE, raising it from a 66 to an 80+.

No matter who is picked, the ripple effect will drastically improve my Units.

I'm at the mercy of the Picks before me, but I'm blessed to be in a position in which no matter who is picked I'll get these Ripple Benefits, not a bad spot to be in.

I got one of the three sweet cover guys in the draft, though #3 but it's all good.

Late in the 1st, got a nice PR DE as he was too good to pass up IMO. Maybe not my biggest need, but a quality talent who will cause trouble for the next decade to opposing offenses.

Traded down a bit to get 2 extra picks in the 2nd so now we'll be getting 4 - 2nd round picks. I'm looking forward to shoring up some areas with a nice infusion of quality youth.

I gave strong consideration to Theodore Brown. Would have looked really nice opposite of Phillip Boldin, but at the end of the day figured I needed way more work on my Offense.

I am pretty disappointed in the WR talent in this draft. Very thin.

Got another CB, a swift LB, my new FB, and a quality WR from a rather thin WR crop. Add that to the stud CB and elite pass rusher from the 1st round.
Looking good so far but...training camp will be the test!
