I'm super stoked about this Trade. But now I'm torn. Does Phillip Bolden play opposite of Samuel Shepard as the SLB, or does he move to DE to become a feared Pass Rusher? This allowed Kenneth Fletcher to move back to SS, where he's a 99 and his lack of Pass Rush Ability doesn't hamper him as much. Losing Edward Cromwell at FS forced me to move Edward Powell back to FS, instead of giving him a go as a Pass Rush RDE as I was planning. I've got Talented Young DL, but none have Speed so they aren't going to be impressive. Just holding the gaps so my LBs can show off.

Personally I would've waited until after training camp to make this deal if I were you Denver. Now you're taking on a lot of risk that the guy you traded for could end up busting.

This is true, but then I took on a lot of risk when I select Samuel Shepard with the 5th Pick. If, after Camp, he wasn't a bust... the price would have been likely higher to acquire him. I offered you a similar deal for Velasquez as well, and was willing to take that risk on. No risk... no reward. Or at least no risk, higher premiums. :D

Bolden will NOT be a bust, he'll be a HoFer. The price was reasonable, actually I think for Denver, they got a bargain! Bolden was worth 2-1sts along with the safety. Personally, I'd leave him at OLB and you'd have 2 killer OLB's. I think his cover skills are too good to leave on the table.

I couldn't resist going for him, he was my #1 Overall in this Draft, and was taken 1 Pick before my Pick.
