Specific player development
by hayseed @ 9/23/2014 10:14 am
Good morning again...

I looked through the help and could not find this specific subject. Can anyone advise if it is possible to encourage a specific aspect of development in a player? For example, if I have a TE that looks great in quite a number of respects but, say, strength or intelligence? Could I do something to try to focus on improving just that one or those two areas of their play?

Since this is my first go round here, I might see something specific in training camp options/mode but I would't have seen that yet, of course.

Thanks folks!

Your players' attributes are driven by their coaching staff hierarchy - but there are some attributes that don't change throughout the life of the player, and others that are static but decline as the player ages. Intelligence falls in the former, and strength falls in the latter. There is nothing you need to do during the TC stage other than make sure your players are assigned to their correct positions (you'll want to do any position changes before TC) - TC basically runs the equivalent of a full season's development (so 1/2 of the player's development occurs in TC, the other half throughout the season)
