To answer your question about what free motivation Smirt needs, he doesn't need any. That's why you shouldn't give him any more free motivation with sideways jabs like the one you made about Mitch beating him the previous season.
But when I win 85-90% of the time in all games and am circa 18% in title games - that is not legit.
Title Games have legit, no chance nerfs and I got hit with them over and over. There's also another GM's structure. If the structure is poor, they can't beat you but in Title Games it won't play that way.
