Injuries are a part of the game - as an excuse - to an extent. We all have to expend energy for the seasonal set-up and then when each scouting attack happens - 4-16 = 20 and then playoffs if in it. That's a lot of work to put in.

Therefore, there's a pain threshold line. If too many main pieces go away, how am I to get the energy to put in the scouting and fight; especially when I get everyone's A+ game.

There's a line in the sand where the injuries = unfair vs. my/our hard work.

Looks like 4.6 will be the end of my success in this league. Stubbornly made no adjustments to playbooks in first two weeks and went 1-1 but scored zero TDs. Made adjustments that I expected would play to the trends of the new version and ended up with 7 turnovers.
I stubbornly made no changes in another league with essentially the same playbooks and went 15-1 and lost in the super bowl to Thanos. Not understanding the differences right now.
