I've enjoyed playing in this league the last several seasons. I've learned a lot over that time and had a great time trying to build a team and keep it competitive. MFN presents such a unique experience of building something over time and matching wits with other owners. The game isn't perfect yet, but it's pretty **** enjoyable.

These past 2-3 seasons have been the best teams I've had and it's hard to walk away from that, but I can't continue to play in a league that allows known exploits to override the competitive balance of the game. In the NFL this past season, there were TWELVE punts blocked. There were FOURTEEN blocked in this ONE GAME in our league this year: https://mfn7.myfootballnow.com/log/10405

It is widely known how a team can put themselves in a position to get these results, and many other leagues have adopted their own "gentlemen's agreement" to prohibit it. I proposed that we do so at the end of last season, but there was no support for it. So...I accept that others must like it that way, and I'll move on.

Well, you didn't have to leave. I didn't have a PB set-up but when I saw that game and knowing I'd see the opponent down the road in a deep playoffs contest (if I get there) I installed PB to match it. I'm in favor of calling the dogs off and the no PB gentleman's agreement.

Well, I wish you had said something (if you were in the league) when I brought it up before. It was crickets except for a couple folks who apparently like it the way it is.

I just joined this season. But I agree in that we have to go one way or the other. The worst is a playoff match-up where 1 GM/Team is armed up and the other one isn't. You won't win the game if you don't neutralize the opposing team's set-up. It trickles into other areas and powers the team up. (i.e. turbo boost)
