Extra points as time expire and defensive penalties resulting in an untimed down I believe are the situations that it will manifest itself. |

I am pretty sure no matter what as long as it is not OT the extra point has to be attempted. I saw this in a NFL game a couple seasons ago where both teams went to locker room and the ref's made each team return 11 players to finish the game regardless

(You see them line up but they don't do anything. If you hit the ">" button it jumps to the end of the play; but you can't actually watch it.) |

Why is a timeout charged on a change of possession as the game is late in the 4th qtr...another glitch that needs to be fixed

The timeout logic shouldn't fire if the clock isn't running except there is a "burn timeout" probability that may have gotten hit. But I can look at the situation and see if I can see why it would have been called from the regular logic. |
