this is Los Angeles (A) Chargers 5th super bowl loss ( 2038 , 2023 , 2022 , 2017 , 2015 ) in their 10th super bowl appearance ( 2038 , 2023 , 2022 , 2021 , 2020 , 2019 , 2018 , 2017 , 2016 , 2015 )
We've had years where we were the best team and got upset. However, this was one where we were not the best team IMO. We got breaks in both the Conf Championship as well as the Super Bowl.
Congrats to New Orleans (you guys were the best) and to LAA (we recovered most of our fumbles and that saved us). Both of you had excellent teams!
