I would be very interested to know if what happened on this last play was due to something AZ had setup, or just another example of the poor AI decision making.
I just looked at the data, this is a combination of a gameplan setting and a possible bug. His end-of-game field goal was set so that this was outside of the range, so that is why the FG was not attempted. His regular field goal range is actually set to be longer than his end-of-game field goal range, and would have fired, and was used to decide that he's trying to milk the clock. So I will fix this by using the regular field goal range if the end-of-game is shorter. If his regular field goal range had matched his end-of-game then he would have attempted to pass the ball.
