Punish receiver is countered by courage, route running is countered by man-to-man coverage, Bump and run is countered by avoid bump and run. There is no direct opposition to the pass catching attribute, but punish receiver and courage are included in the calculation about whether the ball is caught, as well as the placement of the ball relative to the receiver. The DB also has the pass catching attribute which is used in the same way if he attempts to intercept the pass
pass defense works kinda like that. Punish has an intimidation factor to force drops. As for hard hitters nothing really coded but speed acceleration strength make for hard looking hits. Fumbles are some what random but the angles and velocity alter results
